When 21.6 g of carbon were burned in the presence of 73.7 g of oxygen, 16.1 g of oxygen remained unreacted. What mass of carbon dioxide was produced?

The reaction equation of the carbon and oxygen is C + O2 = CO2. So the oxygen reacted is (73.7-16.1)/32=1.8 mol. So the CO2 produced also has 1.8 mol which is 79.2 g.
