You've got a formula. If the two endpoints are [latex]A(x_A,y_A)[/latex] and [latex]A(x_B,y_B)[/latex], then the length is [latex]\sqrt{(x_B-x_A)^2+(y_B-y_A)^2}[/latex]. The result is [latex]\sqrt{16+25}=\sqrt{41}[/latex].
