Scientific fact is based on a law. It is anchored by the laws of the different fields of science. Such as that gravity is real. Such as that the sun is in the center of the solar system.  Theory is a set of assumptions that wants to answer scientific queries and unknowns. A theory can be proven again and again unlike a fact. It can be disproved or approved.
