# What is the answer for 3 and 6....please show how you did it.....thank you

For this you are trying to find the volume which is equal to: $V = L*W*H$ So its probably easier if we make then improper fractions so for number three: $V=( \frac{13}{2})( \frac{8}{2})( \frac{28}{3})=\frac{728}{3}in^{3}=242 \frac{2}{3}in^{3}$ If it is SA, then $SA = 2(LW+LH+WH) =$  $2( \frac{28}{3}*4+ \frac{28}{3}* \frac{13}{2}+ \frac{13}{2}*4)$ $=2(124)=248in^{2}$ For number 6: $V=(8)( \frac{23}{4})( \frac{5}{2})=115yd^{3}$ or $SA = 2(LW+LH+WH) =$ $2(8* \frac{5}{2}+8* \frac{23}{4}+ \frac{23}{4}*\frac{5}{2})=$ $2(80.375) = 160.75in^{2}$
