What evidence exists to support the theory of plate tectonics

The Marianas trench, a subduction zone  every single mountain  earthquakes  the discovery of fossils of the same species on three different continents (Africa, North America, and South America) supporting the theory about the existence of Pangea, which reinforces the theory of continental drift and thus the theory of plate tectonicss

Isn't volcano hot spots evidence of plate tectonics? Volcano's erupt when a hot spot moves underneath them. So when volcano's erupt that means that a hot spot moved under it and the plates move the hot spots. I hope that helped, if it didn't give me feedback to correct myself later on.
