Inferring is a term used to say what pieces of information you can get/assume from the description provided. For example, 'a girl got passed her maths exam but another boy gave her a nasty look' From this we can say or 'infer' that the boy was jealous.


Inferring basically means that you are taking context clues and using what you have to determine a piece of information.For example The boy was crying and limping when he fell of the slide that shows that he was sad.As your grade increases it will be more of a challenge.The answer is not always there for you so we have to infer a lot.Thanks I hope this helps!!!
