The Seneca Falls Convention drafted the Declaration of Sentiments, which was a list of resolutions (also accompanied by another list of resolutions) which identified the position of women in society and how suffragists wanted to advance from this as well as the fact that women should have the right to vote. The Seneca Falls Convention was the first women's rights convention. This is seen as a huge step forward for women's rights and for equality of men and women in society.
