PHYSICS HELP: How does electricity help "hold atoms together to form molecules"? Like in the olden times when there was no electricity, how did this happen?? In confused please explain thank you!

There was always electricity, humans just didn't know how to use it for their own purposes until recently. Atoms bond to each other by sharing electrons (the basis of electricity). When they share, they have to stick close to each other to do it, and they form a new compound with different properties. Electricity works by moving electrons among molecules from one location to another. The more electrons the more charge, and charge imbalances can be used to our advantage.
