[latex](2, 2.5) , \ \ x=2, \ \ y = 2.5 \\ \\ y=x+2 \\ \\2.5 = 2+2 \\ \\ 2.5\neq 4 \\ \\ point \ (2,2.5) \ does \ not \ belong \ to \ the \ graph[/latex]

2 = x and 2.5 = y y = x + 2 2.5 = 2 + 2 No never 2.5 ≠ 4 So it is NOT
