How do you subtract 6 minus 3 2/3

2 1/3 is the answer Convert 6 into thirds by multiplying 6 times 3. So 18/3 - 3 2/3 or 11/3. Answer is ; 18/3 minus 11/3  which equals 7/3 or 2 1/3
