AN ATTENTION GRABBER IS KEY!! Here's a tip, Don't start with a question. People do that wayyy to much and it gets boring. Depending on your topic, try a fact! Here's an example and for the example we will use APPLE. "An apple can be red, yellow, and green." That is simple and gets to the point. If you don't want to do a fact. you could do a quote! Hope that helped!

Attention Grabbers are pretty simple, Yea you could do those, but you could also start with a basic imagery sentence that goes with the topic. For example, in my reading class, we had to write an essay on a motif in the book of night and I did soup. so my opening was someone eating soup and thinking nothing of it, and comparing it to the Holocaust prisoners who savored soup and could only eat soup. The sentence structure described their actions
