a. You still have an uncut side, which is 20 cm. b. The perimeter is 2 uncut sides (20+20) added to the cut sides (12+14). That is 66. c. You just cut off a triangle from a square. The square is 20*20=400. The triangle is [latex]\frac{(20-12)(20-14)}{2}=\frac{8*6}{2}=24[/latex]. The final area is 400-24=376.
