I would like to thank those that corrected me. I got confused and associate 2 inside the parentheses. So here is the correction:  You must use the method of PEDMAS P=Parentheses  E=Exponents D=Dividing M=Multiplying A=Adding S=Subtracting  6^{2} ÷2 (3) +4=x You do the exponents   6^{2} =36 36÷2+4=x You do division next 36÷2=18 You multiply next 18*3=54 54+4=58 Answer: x=58
